Grandpa Came to Visit
Grandpa came to visit us and meet sweet Tessa. We had a lot of fun spending time together as a family!
Looking back through some old pictures, I found some pictures of Chris and Salem in the exact same moment as Grandpa and Salem:

And also, Salem is still a pain to feed.

Look at how little he was! What a difference a year makes :)

Tessa Faith // Newborn Photos
Miss Anna made a visit to our home to photograph our {growing} family. Tessa was just four days old in these pictures but already you can see how much she has her brothers affections!

SHE's here!
So, we had a GIRL!
Throughout the entire pregnancy, Chris and I both thought it was another boy. Even Dr. Tetirick, who had correctly predicted Salem's gender, had guessed 'boy' as well. And, as fate would have it, all of us were incorrect in our guesses. We were definitely surprised but not the least bit disappointed :)
Without further ado, I would like to introduce you to...
Tessa Faith Glasgow
July 16th, 2014
7 lbs. 11 oz.
19 3/4 inches
What do the boys think? They are in LOVE. For now. We are soaking it up as long as it lasts.
One of Colin's first remarks: 'Can I take her to show-and-tell?'
One of Salem's first remarks: 'I put the baby in the trash.'
I promise, he really does adore her!

Family Photos::2013
Every Fall, just before Colin's birthday, we call on our favorite photographer to capture our family. We keep our photo sessions very casual - we wear clothes out of our closets and drawers, and keep the locations limited to an open field or pumpkin patches. Nothing crazy. Just our family. As we are.
This year, pictures were a little more difficult. Salem was ready to go about five minutes into it. Here he is giving his best 'all done' sign...
and Chris still cannot understand the concept of always being camera ready. Exhibit A...
But, as usual, Anna manages to capture such sweet moments out of all the craziness...
Those two make me smile. We are so thankful for these photos. Chris and I are TERRIBLE about getting in pictures with our kids. Terrible. These photos mean so much to us. And I am thankful that my boys will rally together for their momma at least one time a year :)
Now for fun, let's compare this year, to last year...
Salem has grown up SO much! Up next, a 18 month and 5 year update. About a month late.

Colin has figured out the art of making funny faces...
